After gaming about 30 minutes and checking temps they are reading 77 C. It also doesnt artifact in RTHDRIBL 1.2 or 3DMark2005. If you have questions about our methods, hit our forums to talk with us about them. I had tried a 7800GT with this motherboard and everything worked great so the motherboard appears to be functional as well. Where are the readings coming from for the GPU temps I opened the side door on my case and try to drop the temps by temporary blowing a home box fan on them and still reading around 70 C, thats crazy. All the tests we employed are publicly available and reproducible. Till now whenever I asked about this, I only asked for people with the 48x0 series, but no one seems to be having the problems I'm having with their video cards and my card appears to be functional.
